2010 F-150 Super crew 5.5box pricing
Can someone give me a quote/time for a 2010 F-150 Super Crew with a 5.5box, bak flip bed cover and a bed rug in the bed. Just wondering how long it will take for a wash. How long for clay. How long for a wash and wax. Heres what I did. I washed my truck, Clayed my truck. Washed truck again, Dried truck. Waxed truck. It took me about 4.5-5hours to do all that. Does this sound right or am I really slow? I did wash and wax the door jambs. No Dressing besides the wax. And I used DP's Clay lubricant and used 3/4 of the bottle. Is that normal too? Thanks in advance.

Sounds about right for a labor of love job such as your own vehicle. Seems like way too much clay lube though unless it was a real small bottle. Just a light mist is all that I use. I hope you didn't wash and clay the bed rug.:joking:

I took me 8 hours just to wash and clay my 2008 Mega Cab dually. 4 hours means you took shortcuts! j/k ;)
Typically trucks take much more time than cars even when you take into account the size proportions. All the climbing and far reaching really sucks up time in detailing. Still, 4 hours is not a very long time. What you need to figure before making your conclusion is how quick you can do it now, having done it before to this specific vehicle, and with a fresh coat of wax.
Re: 2010 F-150 Super crew 5.5box pricing
I have a F150 Supercrew 4X4 that my 19 y/o son and I did last week. On Monday we washed, dried, and clayed; polished the chrome and wheels; dressed the tires and exterior trim and then using a PC polished with FP. Even with both of us working together it took us about 4.5 hours to complete. After a lunch break, he gave up and said he couldn't do anymore so he took off on me. I went back to it, did a wipe down with QD and then applied KAIO with the PC to the paint and by hand to all the glass which took about another 2 hours. I had other things to do so I left it til Tuesday morning at which time I did another wipe down with QD and put on a coat of KSQ by hand, about another 2 hours. Late Tuesday, I went back to it for my final LSP. I did another wipe down with QD and then applied Collinite 476 Super double coat with the PC. Again it was about 2 hours. So all in all it took about 10.5 hours to complete the exterior, not counting the time to get supplies organized, ready and clean up afterward. But wow did it look great. By the way, we didn't do anything to the interior other than the door jambs. I had done the interior the week before.
