Scratches in Laminent Flooring

Well I have been noticing my sons awesome little jeep he rides around the house in is causing scratches in my floor. I have read about using a crayon to fix the scratches but I was wondering if anyone has used any care-care products on their floors to removes scratches. I tried a small section out using Poorboys SSR1 and amazingly it did lighten the scratches. It made the floor a little slippery but not to bad. I have no idea how safe this is to do this. Thanks for any tips.
