NEW at Autogeek - Optimum Hyper Compound! Pics inside!

After waiting months for this product to be released, we've finally gotten our hands on it - and you know I had to use it right away. :D

Fortunately (not sure if that's the right word) my dad's boat was in some serious need of TLC. It's a 2007, 20' Scout and has never been waxed :eek:. Hey, I don't have time to take care of them all!

The product was very easy to work with in spray form. I used my Makita 9227 with a wool cutting pad. It cut fast, dust was non-existant, working time was awesome, and best of all it left an awesome finish. Gel coat is pretty hard, and when it gets nasty grimy stains and oxidation, it can be a real pain to work with! This is what a one-step with Optimum Hyper Compound got me....the pictures will tell the story!

Notice how oxidized and stained the gunnels are here. (I was testing out an Edge pad - it worked well but didn't have as much cut as the other 3M pad I started with so I switched back).

Ive tried it already too and I love it. I don't ever want to go back to tiny sections and dusting again.
