Gyeon Q2 Quick View Review
Gyeon Q2 Quickview
Gyeon Q2 Quick View was released earlier in 2021 and is designed to provide a hydrophobic coating to all exterior glass surfaces. Quick View has a life expectancy of approximately 6-months and also has the ability to repel contamination.
Like all Gyeon products, Quick View is presented in fresh packaging. While packaging is not an indicator of a products performance, there is no denying Gyeon have nailed the branding and bottle design of their products.

Gyeon recommend decontaminating glass prior to application with the use of a clay bar, although you could also polish the glass if required to. In my case, I used a clay block with Meguiar's Final Inspection as the lubricant.

Once clayed, I wiped the glass clear of the lubricant and then followed up with CarPro Eraser.

With the glass prepped, it was time for the Quick View. The main selling point for this product in my mind is the integrated applicator. First step is to squeeze the bottle to soak the felt pad.

Quick view is applied by working the applicator across the glass in circular motions, squeezing the bottle to release more product as required.

After letting sit for 5 minutes or so, you then wipe the product off the glass with a damp microfiber.

The application process of Quick View makes it a very simply and easy way to protect glass.

Wiping off with a damp towel doesn’t leave streaks?

Yeah, it does to a degree.
I would follow up with some ONR or Glass Cleaner afterwards if you have streaks, or wait till the next wash.

Let us know how it works in rain. Does it state temps safe to use in?
Griots glass sealant can’t be installed in under 60 degrees. Looking for something i can apply in winter.

I tried it a while back and wasn't impressed. The hdrophobic property is on par with typical Rain X. I still stand by Rust Oleum Never Wet for glass vs this product. You get more for the money, easy to apply and use and it works great and lasts. Just my Nickles worth. I think it's called Shield H20 Rain Repellent now.
Re: Gyeon Q2 Quick View Review
Gyeon Quick View is great and its holding up on all our cars now quite nicely.
The only thing I dislike is how the product gets absorbed into the pad. Its quite finicky, even when squeezing the bottle to prime it. It doesn't evenly distribute into the pad and won't evenly distribute on the glass. On the side windows which are more vertical, the liquid pools up to the back of the bottle and doesn't reach the pad making for an aggravating application experience.

Interesting. Thank you for the review.
Re: Gyeon Q2 Quick View Review
I had to drive home in a rather volatile storm this afternoon. On one hand, I was annoyed as if it had waited just ten minutes more, I would still have a clean car! On the other, I got to witness the water behavior of the Gyeon Quick View.
The rain drops literally danced all over the windscreen. The storm also brought through some gusty wind, exaggerating the water movement from the glass. On first acquaintance, Quick View certainly does what it says on the box. The next measure will be how long it lasts.

No wiper chatter? I used Fusso coat Glaco and it was a one way ticket to
shudder town. AW h2go is good.

None at all. It's still early days for the coating so will inform if/when I notice any different.
