While researching Flex, they are indeed owned by Chevron, a Chinese company. Also found out that Lowes will be selling Flex polishers this spring.Quote:

Certain "brand snobs" that put down other products as being inferior because they are manufactured (in whole, or in part) in China are fooling themselves.
A friend who sourced handheld electric grinding products from China for worldwide sales....actually restarted USA production for North American distribution again. With China wages going up and the cost of shipping, it equaled the delivered cost of making it here. That was done 3 years ago, well before the current headaches.Quote:

I’ve been using the heck out of my Flex CBeast and Pxe polishing home theater subwoofers. They work great and and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more. I did not realize they were Chinese made when I purchased but now that I’ve used them, they seem incredibly well built to me.
