Pinnacle Foamaster
Got (in just about 6 days!) the garden hose model, quart size and it greatly exceeds my expectations both in build quality and performance. Our water pressure is probably 'average' 50 psi or so and the amount of foam-using only regular car wash with a bit of water-really has to be seen to be believed. Not what I see in pictures of those using these tools with a pressure washer but really not that much different.
The only negative are the directions/instructions in a word they, blow-big time, BUT one should not have much trouble in figuring things out .
I highly recommend that those who do not have one to get one as soon as you are able-but remember my water pressure is about 50 psi.

Re: Pinnacle Foamaster
I just got mine and was trying to figure out what setting I should put the brass stem at for mixture. Any suggestions?

Re: Pinnacle Foamaster
Tnks for that link, now I know what the brass screws are for !! - would never has guessed in a trillion years that the top one was for foam adjustment and it makes sense, as the screw becomes loose air would be drawn in lessening the venturi effect or I think anyway.

Re: Pinnacle Foamaster
Been using one for years. I foam up with good pre wash with it. Then regular wash with buckets and mitt. It's good to loosen up the dirt before a wash. LOL. I can remember the first time i used it and the neighbors looking. Foam party!

Re: Pinnacle Foamaster
If you use it for the entirety of your wash as opposed to switching over to buckets, you'll enjoy its full benefits. Washing with one is the safest way to wash. Good bye to all dirt.

Re: Pinnacle Foamaster
I was skimming over Mikes article. I use the next to last setting. Then i got to the part of 10oz of soap to the container! HOLY BATMAN, that is a lot of soap!! I have the pump on my gallon soap container. 1 pump = 1 oz. I never used more than 2oz in my gun. I can't imagine if i put 10oz in? It would blanket the neighborhood in foam! Looks to be 8oz for a 32oz gun is the guideline.

Re: Pinnacle Foamaster
I have a gallon of premixed soapy mix that I use to fill the foam gun with. When it gets low I fill it again. Lots of soap to flush the dirt away is what we're aiming for.

Re: Pinnacle Foamaster
Understood. Going to try 6-8 oz just for fun next wash.

Re: Pinnacle Foamaster
Curious as to the total amount of water used with a gun as compared to without ?
-
Re: Pinnacle Foamaster
I have no idea I just have the hose on throughout the duration of the wash. It never significantly affected my water bill or anything like that.

Re: Pinnacle Foamaster
Used a total of 8 oz of honeydew snow foam Saturday morning in the gun. Usually i use 2 oz. Yea, it was basically a foam party! For me i don't think i would use that amount all the time. Would be safe to say 4-6 oz would create all the foam i would need.

Re: Pinnacle Foamaster
Great tool to have. I've been using one for many years. I like to add a little Blackfire Foam Booster with my shampoo for some serious foaming action.

Re: Pinnacle Foamaster
Roughly 1/3 to just under 1/2 the amount of water saved with the foamer the way I do it-impressive. Or another way the foamer seems to provide near pressure washer water savings-I think.
