high end detailing lineup.
Hello. I'm not too sure where to post this and I did search but couldnt really find what I was loking for.
I have a white Jaguar F-type R, it has some xpel film as well.
Products I own: (all 10 years old)
M105
M205
Menzerna powerlock
Pinnacle sovereign paste wax (more for red or black paint)
Wolfgang clay lube
I know this stuff is pretty dated technologically as well as in life. I am looking to update my lineup as well as add to it. Looking for a full list of high quality products to go from a to z of detailing.
Thanks a lot for any help anyone could provide!

Could you tell me which specific products you use for what?
Re: high end detailing lineup.
What you have, as long as it hasn’t gone bad, will work. But like you said, there are newer, easier products available. In part, I think what I would use will depend on what Last Stage Protection (LSP) I’m going to use on the car. Do you want a coating? If so then you might look at the products from that line (Gyeon, CarPro, Gtechniq, etc) to start with.* If you are going with a sealant and/or a carnuba wax then I’d be more open to mixing and matching. White is fairly forgiving so that’s a bonus too.
*using all the products from a coating company’s line isn’t required but makes things easier to start with and takes away areas of error.
Great car btw. Had a white XJS a few years ago and loved it.
bLob (bottom line on bottom): What protectant do you want to use on the paint?

That's a huge request. I think you'll get more help if you narrow down your request for help to a specific topic.
For example,
What is a good car wash when using a water hose and bucket approach?
Or
What is a good car wash when using a foam gun or foam cannon?
See the difference? The topic is narrowed down to washing the car and now it's just a matter of the TYPE of car wash you are able to or prefer to do.
:)

Hi mike. Thanks for taking the time to respond. I agree completely however I come into the predicament in that I dont know what I want in order to ask specifically for it.
I guess a better question would be what are your go to products for washing with a hose or pressure washer with cannon and then maintaining that finish between washes with a bias to products designed for higher end white soft painted vehicle.
I hope this narrows it down a tad. ♡

Thanks for taking the time to get back to me. I'm not looking to ceramic it just yet as it has the film. I'd be going for either a sealant or wax or both? Also thanks on the car :)

How and why did you use M105/205? Do you machine to cut and polish?
Once you nail down proper wash and decon (i.e. wash, iron decon, clay) are you machine buffing paint?
We can talk you through each step. Or suggest other products to try.
I will say that you're current inventory, while dated, are still solid products. If you liked them before they might still work well. Shake them up well and see if they're still workable.
