Rupes Q-MAG nano sander adapter or nor?

Hi, i have rupes ibrid nano. i believed that rupes created an adapter to use the nano as sander . but ive realized that they sell another kit. you must purchade the whole new ibrid sander nano kit. am i wrong? if this is the case....this is not fait rupes guys. i have spent 600 dollars for your nano kit and now you sell the whole kit again and the only thing that actually change is the head adapter. why this?

I just use the sanding discs and backing plate that came with the Nano. No sense in throwing money away.
