Welcome to AutogeekOnline! :welcome:
Detailing is a natural addition to auto repair.
What do you have to tools and supplies so far?
:)
So far the equipment I have bought
Gas powered pressure washer, good sprayer, foam cannons
Flex 3401
Ibrid Nano long neck
Adam's polishers. 15mm pro, 12mmpro and micro
4 giant totes full of different microfiber towels. Many different brands for testing and use
I ended up buying a ton of Adam's products and chemicals. I'm new, don't make fun of me.
I have a ton of cars that I use for practice. I've been working out compounds, polishes, sealants and waxes.
Really trying out different pad/compound combos right now.
I have only done a few for profit jobs and customers were very happy.
I have a feeling my pad collection is going to end up being bigger than my collection of microfiber
Welcome to AGO! :)
Just wanted to say thanks Mike for all you do for the detailing community. I watch at least 3 of your videos a day. Now I hope to get tons of info from the forum.
Welcome SaabGuy!
We use to have a Saab 9.3 Convertible. That was a fun car!
That's a great start. I've enver used the Adam's polishers but I'm a huge fan of the BEAST and the Nano Long Neck. In Fact, I almost always use both of these tools plus the FLEX PiXiE for every car I detail.
As for Adam's compounds and polishes - I have also not used any of these. Anyone that has read any of my writing or watched any of my videos knows I stress the importance of using great abrasive technology. As long as these products work you're good to go. I do all my testing on BLACK paint. Black paint shows micro-marring when products are used with orbital polishers. No micro-marring means great abrasive technology.
Thank you sir, it's nice to have a job you love.
:)
