My 2020 work summed-up in a single post
My 2020 work summed-up in a single post
2020 has been an interesting year for most of us. Detailing has been a side-hustle for me, and working from home has allowed me to dedicate a few more hour to detailing and my family which has been nice. I’ve been fortunate enough to see an increase in the number of vehicles I’ve serviced this year but I’ve been a little lax in posting my work here, so I’ll be dumping everything I’ve done thus-far in this post. Hopefully it’s not too much in a single post.
Berkshire Pontoon Boat
This is my in-laws pontoon. At the start of the season they asked me to detail it and prep it for summer. I spent close to 10 hours polishing the pontoons using wool and a rotary. Needless to say, my wife made me change in the garage before she would allow me to enter the house. Then I was promptly escorted to the shower…

Ford F350 – Two stage polish and Ceramic Coating
This is my brothers work truck that he uses daily for estimates and at the job-site. He wanted to protect the paint since he intends on keeping this truck for a few years so he settled on a Ceramic coating. I used GTechniq CSL topped with C2V3. My experience has been that EXO tends to scratch easier than CSL. Where this is a work truck, I would rather have the protection from CSL over the water beading of EXO (although it would have looked amazing on black).

[B]Lexus IS 350 F-Sport[/B/
This lexas was coated in the fall with GTechniq CSL + EXO and the owner was looking to have the 6 month maintenance done to it to keep the water beading.

Toyota Sienna
This Sienna is the primary family vehicle and needed a little TLC. The owners have a friend who owns a detail shop about 50 miles away, but coordinating a time to have it detailed being that far away has always been a challenge. When the vehicle was detailed, it was only an interior service so the exterior has never has a full detail. The paint was polished with HD Speed to give it a little extra pop.

Thanks for sharing, I’m sorry what interior products you use?
How long does each vehicle take average?

All looks great.... that black tho....
Really nothing better than going for perfection on a black vehicle then pulling it into the sun !
