I switched my boat detailing classes over to the RUPES wool pads. I like them.

I’m also a fan of the same Rupes pads. They come in 5,6 and 6.5 inches. I think they are balanced very well.
They have a good amount of blow off on the first use. I suggest really spurring them heavily b4 first use. After that, they are a dream to use.
My favorite is CS-II wool pads by Richard Lin
I'm confident you will like these new wool cutting pads.
Be sure to also have a spur to clean the pad on-the-fly.

I have been happy with Schlegel.
Lake Country Purple or Blue and I too have used Rupes. I personally have standardized on Lake Country to keep things simple and they work and finish out great.
