The New Rupes Pad/Polishing System Strategy
This may have been discussed at nauseam already, but what is the general feeling of the new Rupes Polishing and Pad systems?
I just watched Jason Rose's
Rupes C.O.R.E.S. Series Webinar
on the Rupes Channel introducing the new Pads and Polishes and how the Forced Rotation and Orbital systems are getting condensed using the same polishes and Pads.
I panicked and loaded up on Rupes Yellows. I did like the look, but wonder if the new beveled-in edge will impair vision when edging?

Hope you don't mind, I edited your post to format it a tick.
Thanks for sharing, I will be using this new system and writing a how-to article for it as well as a review.

Re: The New Rupes Pad/Polishing System Strategy
Just saw in the video that RUPES is discontinuing the Mille Coarse and Mille Fine products for the North American market.
Too bad - Autogeek purchased these for me to show in my classes because I teach an authentic RUPES class, that is all RUPES tools with RUPES pads and RUPES products. It's the real-deal.
Probably give them away to those attending the September class.

It's so good to see these new products and pads.
Can't wait for them to get here to Autogeek so I can test them out.
Looks like the original coarse blue foam pads are going away. These are the pads I've found to work best for POLISHING gel-coat to a show car finish. The reason they work so well is because they, that is the foam is SHARP!
Looks like the new blue foam pad is changing and losing the sharp aspect. I'll have to test them side-by-side to see if they work to polish gel-coat. If not - looks like I'll be looking for a new foam pad for my boat detailing classes.

UNO PURE piqued my interest.

Me too.
I talk a LOT about abrasive technology on this forum, our YouTube channel and in my classes. I'd challenge someone to find anyone that talks about abrasive technology more than I do.
One thing for sure - RUPES has great abrasive technology. I never worry about showing their products in my classes or using them on any paint system.
They are a company that....
Gets it

(Quietly putting Rupes coarse pads in shopping cart before they are gone) (No one is looking)

That's the FIRST thing I thought. Put in an order and stock up.
I get why they are doing away with these pads, they certainly are different and for sure NOT for everyone.
Me? I've always loved them for the kind of car and boat detailing I do.

Mike I have 4 blue rupes pads in the 5" size that I would be more than willing to donate to you. They are brand new by the way.
I was just never fond of them.
Re: The New Rupes Pad/Polishing System Strategy
It’s bold of Rupes to do a total reset on a strategy that, for the most part, has garnered the Rupes ecosystem massive market share up to now. Gutsy move that’s just so Italian.
Wonder if this is a preempting reaction to Lake Country’s serious entry into the Polisher market?
