Matte Finish Wheel Protection?
Does anyone make a satin gloss ceramic coating ?
So far I've only been able to find a product called Anglewax Luminosity which intended to protect matte finish wheels without creating any gloss or leaving any white residue.
I would think a ceramic coating would offer better protection than a light wax; but, so far unable find one with a satin gloss.
Have a car on order with Matte Vapor Wheels which was told are not clear coated from the factory so would like to get something on them.
Thank you !
Re: Matte Finish Wheel Protection?
Any wheel coating will work. It will not add gloss but rather give them a richer appearance. It will make the wheels look blacker. Matte/Satin surfaces are more porous so it may take more product.
I have used these on matte wheels without any issue: CarPro DLUX, 22ple VM1, Gyeon Rim.
I did these factory matte wheels with 22ple VM1. DLUX is best bang for the buck for overall performance and the ability to use it on trim and wheels.
