We've all bee sent home for the next 2 weeks.
I don't really mind but the work flow is going to be very slow, and I have a deadline in, of course, 2 weeks.
Going to make the best of it!

I am on a rotating schedule with a couple other people to not come in every day and work from home when not needed to go it. Virtual meetings have overloaded the system today.
Our company in Houston is doing the same, received notice that if we can do our jobs away from office. So it is going to be a very odd situation to deal with while the market tanks and oil prices below profit levels.
I work full-time in oil company, so that hurts jobs!
So working company laptop now from kitchen bar and working home PC. Now it tests the moral fabric, can I avoid eating while bored?
My company has a mandatory 35% of the workforce to WFH and my team is 100% work from home.
I do it a couple days a week anyway, so for me it’s not a big deal.
All public schools have closed here the next two weeks. No changes at work. Calling for overtime this week. Go figure?
I normally can work from home whenever I want (so usually it's the days with rain to keep the car clean). Now it's just going to be daily no matter the weather. For the type of work I do, it makes no difference being at home or the office. I like the office to BS with colleagues and get lunch made for me. But with my son being home from the school shutdown for 2 weeks I'd have to stay here regardless of my work telling us to do it or not.
I “forgot” to get the company laptop set up to gain access to our system with our IT guy. Looks like I’ll have to remember it tomorrow.
BTW: We’re germaphobes in my office so frequent hand washing, Lysol wipedowns, telling sick people to go home and social distances are old school to us. Now the rest of the building (and world) have caught up to us.
I’ve been out on PFL since the beginning of the month for the birth of my son. Not going back until the beginning of May.
Congratulations, man!
