Re: A great first effort!!!
Very cool! I absolutely love all the different types of hot rods you have over there vs here in the states.

Thank you Klasse Act. :xyxthumbs:
Yeah, that Sierra Cosworth was a smart car. In my younger days I took care of two identical 'MoonstoneBlue' Cosworths both owned by the same guy . . . at the same time. Awesome cars.
The Rotary scene here in New Zealand is massive. I myself have had a few, even built a '73 RX3 Coupe many years ago & won 27 trophies at shows with that car. Never trailered it, always drove it like it was stolen. (as you should with a Rotary) There is a big Rotary meet coming up in the diary here too - RE-union is a great event & normally attracts a good couple of hundred cars.
The blue 808/RX3 wagon in the pictures is in the diary for detailing for this event too. Also quite a special car in NZ. Not sure how many folks here will have heard of Mike Whiddett or 'Mad Mike Whiddett' he's right up there in the sport of drifting & this car was his street car (skid car) back in the early days before drifting took off. A local guy came across the car in a far different state . . . found out it used to belong to Mad Mike & set about rebuilding it exactly the same as Mike had it in the early 90's.
Appreciate you comments my friend.
