Become a Certified Detailer through the International Detailing Association right here at Autogeek's Show Car Garage in Stuart, Florida.
The Certified Detailer program evaluates a detailer’s technical knowledge and proficiency. Successful completion of the first phase (Phase I), consisting of ten written exams, will grant the detailer the title of IDA Certified Detailer (IDA-CD).
The CD designation is a great achievement and demonstrates a basic mastery of the knowledge and applied skills needed by the detailing professional. The pride of earning the CD designation places that detailing professional among a group at the top of their profession.
Phase I (the certification exams) consists of 10 exams, 10-20 questions each, in these subject areas: Equipment, Chemicals, Glass, Interior Detailing, Leather, Paint Correction & Protection, Wheels & Tires, Prep Wash/Wash Bay, Detailing Terminology, Safety & Compliance. You need at least an 80% or better to pass.
These tests can also be taken on-line through the IDA website. The advantage of attending a "CD in a Day" event, is the attendee will review the general information in the morning part of session, with the instructors and other attendees; and then take the 10 written tests in the afternoon.

***Update***
This class is scheduled so you start out the year 2019 as an IDA Certified Detailer.
The class will take place here inside Autogeek's Show Car Garage.
After the Certified Detailer testing, there will be a hands-on detailing class that includes correction and polishing aluminum!

I just signed up for the detailing boot camp in January and also the Ida sv test. Super excited. I’ll be coming from Jersey
