2014 Duramax LTZ Silverado
Yesterday I posted some pictures of a Silverado that was improperly finesse at a body shop somewhere.
After a good wash and claybar I wet sanded with 1000,1500 and 2000.
Today I am starting the buffing process with 3m 36060 and polishing with 36064. Here are the pics from yesterday and I will add to them
Reconditioning this truck is going to be a long process as the paint is rough.
Dry spray, orange peel and overspray at the least.

I wish I could get more defining pictures,I'm not sure you can see the difference.
Any way this side is done.
edit: I guess I need to make sure my phone is turned the right way,,lol

Re: 2014 Duramax LTZ Silverado
Thanks,on my phone I couldn't really tell but on my home PC I could see the difference.
Hopefully I'll stop getting side tracked and get it done today
I'm sure being pulled of it 5 or 6 times now has caused me to miss something

Re: 2014 Duramax LTZ Silverado
To be fair I only sanded 3/4 of it,the rest was overstay relocal and cleaning the underside of mud .
My boss was very happy with the results
Re: 2014 Duramax LTZ Silverado
That truck looks too good to be on a dealer's lot. What type of machine and pads did you use for the buffing?
