I think I read it is ok to put sealant or wax on a brand new car immediately but I am just double checking because the date on the door is last month . Possibly only 2 weeks ago . Should I wait a little while or am I good to go?

You're good to go. OEM paint is baked on and should be fully cured by the time the car gets to a dealer.
^^^:iagree: (mostly)
•An exception could be an off-line [@
the assembly plant/or the dealership]
paint repair/respray cure-time.
•If ever in doubt (ex.: whenever you
believe additional time is needed for
further out-gassing of the paint):
-Meguiar’s M305 is the perfect product
to use for interim protection.
Bob
3D makes AAT 505, which is similar to AIO HD Speed, but the 505 is fresh paint and body shop safe. 505 leaves protection behind as well.
