McKee's trim restore question..
Hey, guys & gals.
So I applied McKee's trim restore about 5 weeks ago after an IPA scrub. It is still protecting, and beading like crazy. SO impressed with this product.
My question is this: The "blackness" has faded slighty although the water beading is still there like I mentioned.
What would be better, just re-apply the product, or start from scratch with a 50/50 IPA scrub?
Re: McKee's trim restore question..
I’ve never used that product but here is what I would do. I would just reapply it since there is still water beading. See if the trim turns black.

I was thinking this as well, but just wanted to throw this out to forum..........
Re: McKee's trim restore question..
All I use. Yes. You have the initial layer down. If you want to refresh it, just reapply.
Re: McKee's trim restore question..
I've never used Mckee's but I have used Griots (still do) and Tuesday I washed my truck and noticed the same thing as you, it was not has dark as I would like it. It may sound silly but I applied Optimum Car Wax on the trim and it darken the trim up nicely. First time doing this so not sure how long it will last but it did work.
