I've decided I am going to coat my Skeeter bass boat with GYEON Syncro. Anyone ever coated a boat before got any pointers? Is there anything different that needs to be done compared to a car?
Thanks

I coated a friends Seadoo in Polish Angel Viking coat. The jet ski was super slick. I don’t think it had any bad effects. Still slick and easy to clean 2 seasons later.
I see you finished this based on another post @58LesPaul, how did the GYEON products go down on the gelcoat? I'd like to do my boat with the Moh's at least but am worried about having enough product @ 50ml since they said it takes more to do gelcoat.
I did most of my top cap and the top front of both consoles and then the sides of the boat. It is a 20 ft bass boat but I didn’t do the whole interior or I would have ran out. The Syncro was extremely easy to apply, just wipe on, wait 30 seconds to a minute, then wipe off. I was very impressed with the ease of use.

Nice polished, clean Gelcoat and you are good to go.
I documented the process we use in our boat detailing class in the thread below.
Basically, do your correction work until your happy, then chemically strip, then apply the coating. Don't tackle to large an area at one time, make sure you apply, wait the recommended time and then make the final buff to remove any high spots before moving on.
