Majestic Mover: 2018 GLS 450
This gentleman approached me due to my website. We discussed different options and he went with the Self Heal Lite as they expect to keep this (black) car for many years. It had just come from the dealer about a day or two earlier. He was debating pulling the wheels and then I swiped my finger across the barrel and it was gross after only 2 days. Decision made! The coating won't stop the brake dust, but it will sure clean up easier for them from now on. I also used a new product on the trim that I was really impressed with. Here it is as it arrived:

First up was the wheels. I shot them with an iron-removing wheel cleaner (don't remember the name right now) and it was doing its thing:

The barrels were shot with Zep Citrus and then cleaned with a Daytona brush and a wash mix of HD Pink. The faces were also cleaned that way. The tires were cleaned with Zeo 505 and the plastic wells were cleaned with LATA.
The paint was foamed with DG 901 and then washed with Pink. It was subsequently clayed with a clay towel using Prime as lube.
The wheels were removed one at a time and then the barrels were given an intensive cleaning using ONR, DG Squeaky clean followed by Eraser. The barrels were then coated with DLux and flash cured using compressed air. The faces were cleaned with Squeaky Clean and then wiped off with Eraser prior to being coated with Feynlab Wheel and Ceramic. Here's a wheel just coated:

The plastic wells were also intensively cleaned with ONR and were coated with DLux. The tires had Opti Bond applied to them while the wheel was still in the air. The caliper was coated with DLux too. Each wheel was torqued back to factory specs afterward. Here's a few shots:

The paint was given a one step polish using a white CarPro Gloss pad + M205 + 3401. The paint was then wiped down with Eraser prior to coating with either Ceramic (where you can't put Self Heal) or Self Heal Lite. I applied Ceramic to the head and tail lights, running boards and roof. The roof rails and side and rear glass were coated with Ceramic Lite.
For the trim? I used a tip Bryan Walroth shared: Feynlab Ceramic. How does it compare to their trim coating (Plastic)? Well, it's got more gloss is the big thing and lasts as long as DLux. It might be 10-20% less gloss than DLux but it spread easier and looked fabulous.
The paint was coated with SHL and was subsequently topped with Ceramic Lite. That gave it a lovely slick, and well protected surface. Each panel got a suntan under my IR light:

Beautiful Richy. :props:
Thats a big beast of a German, bet that goes like heck too. Fantastic work as normal mate. The owner must've "got it" in terms of protection for their new ride. So Richy - you used normal Feynlab Ceramic on the trim is this correct? Interesting, & noted. :dblthumb2:
Great job my friend . . . still missing the light bulb shot . . . .
