I havent used it in a couple years since I stopped washing my uncle's two cars once a week but I really loved how it cleaned tires and it did a nice job on wheels. Thinking about ordering a gallon of it with my next order since the last of mt wheel brightener is about to be gone.
This product works great on removing Oxidation from all rubber, not just tires. Also great for engine cleaning. I love it and the price is great.
My go to wheel/tire cleaner. What's up shinedoc!
If the wheels are severely neglected, you might need something stronger like Wheel Brightener, but this stuff suds up really well. Works pretty good on tires too. When I run out, I almost want to make my own mixture of car soap and degreaser because that's pretty much what it is.
It's really good for maintaining! Solid product IMO! As far as a tire cleaner, I would look elsewhere!
I just bought some a little while ago am really liking it. I chose it over Wheel Brightener because I only do my own cars and the wheels never get that bad. WB was too risky for my liking to use on a regular basis if it wasn't needed. I've only tried D143 at 2:1 so far and it works great on both the wheels and tires. I especially like the fact that it is versatile to do both, it's a good value too.
I even tried it on the barrels of some 10 year old neglected alloys with baked on brake dust and it did a pretty good job. Not perfect, but it returned them from black to silver(ish). Might have been even better at 1:1.
I use and like it, I still have WB debating on giving it away . I'm not sure about the whole acid thing. Anybody find any other good use for WB?
I use D143 2:1 its great for maintaining wheels and tires. If trashed, you may want to look for something else.
I've been using it for a couple of years now and pleased with the results. Once I get the initial cleaning done on some wheels it's regular wash soap from there on.
