Any of you have experience using 3M's Perfect-it 3000 machine polish with a PC?
I'm looking to remove only the lightest of swirls, so any info on the product itself or which LC pads would work best with it would be appreciated. :D

Are you dead set using 3m.you mentioned light swirls,HD speed with a orange thin cutting pad should clean it up good.
Hey, GSKR. No, not dead set on it. But I have a few buddies that work in body shops that like this, and I have an abundance of this at my work that is free for the taking if I would like. (Boss approved, Lol).
For 14.99 I would buy the speed but that's me.Buy the thin orange cutting pad and finishing pad and see if the 3m will do the job.more than likely it will if you have different brands of 3m.after polishing wipe the panel with 50/50 alcohol and water, with good lighting you should be able to see progress.
No problem.
IMO...Here's some pertinent information:

Hey, thanks Bob. I did do my research a little more, and you are 100% correct. Took GSKR's advice, and ordered HD speed.
That's why I love this forum. There are always more experienced people to guide you away from a potential mistake. Much appreciated, my friend. :D
