I got 25' on both my Griot's DA's, no need for an extra power cord, or never worry about having the proper gauge power cord.
25' is the way to go!
Depending on where you're working you will probably need an extension cord so go with the 10' - less cord to wrap up and store. If your work space only needs 20 ft, go with the 25' cord.

I like my 25' cords. With a 10' cord you will always need an extension cord.
As a mobile detailer, I had the 25' at one point. It was nice, but still needed an extension anyway in multiple situations.
Recently purchased a Rupes 21 plus a mini and I opted for the stock length ...
It saved small money, but that extra saving went toward pads.
If I was a shop, 25' all the way.

get the 10' and get a couple 50ft 12 gauge extention cords. you may need them at some point and can connect them if necessary...
25' unless 50' is an option lol.
Are there any disadvantages to running polishers on an extension cord, other than tangled messes?
"Dammit Jim, I'm a detailer, not an electrician!"
Some people view the 25 foot cord as "More of a mess to deal with" Either way you still have to wrap up your extension cord so that never really made sense to me.
25foot cords are really nice. Plug in and go. I am one of those guys that like to have 2-3 machines plugged in at all times so im ready to rock. The fact that I dont have to go looking and searching for extension cord is a absolute time saver.
My Rupes mini has the 25foot cord and I would not have it any other way.
