Very nice work!
Wow! Nice save Tom. :props:
Really nice work on this one my friend, it isn't always fun fixing someone else's work & can be pretty frustrating. Sweet looking ride too I must say. :xyxthumbs: Great job mate, thank you for sharing.

.
Very nice work and someone has to be thankful you saved the paint job on this old Ford.
I always hate seeing pictures as simply attachments - I downloaded your attachments and then uploaded them into your free gallery here on AGO

Fantastic, I really like the AFTER shot of the hood.
Fantastic Tom!!!! What a transformation on an awesome car. Late 60's Ford's and Mercury's are some of the most beautiful designs ever! I remember as a kid watching Hawaii 50 and seeing Jack Lord's big old Montego. And is that a 66 GTO up on the lift?
In a lot of the photo's I could see where someone previously decided a wool rotary was a good idea, leaving all those paint burns. I don't know how someone could step back (after burning the paint with a rotary) and say "that'll do..." Sadly we see that all too often.
You did a tremendous job removing all the bad things that were done to this car!!!
Truly amazing work Tom!
Beautiful blue color. Thank you for jogging my memory. My best friend had a Ford Galaxie (not convertible)back high school (early '80s) that had an 8-track tape player in it that had Beatles St Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band tape stuck in it. Only 1 channel worked so with that album, due to all the stereophonic effects they were playing with, on one song you would only hear vocals and no instruments and then the next song there would be no vocals and only instruments. Haven't though about that in probably 30 years. That thing was so long. You could fit a family of four in the trunk.
