Hi all,
Is there a specific wax that is made to last on something that gets hot? I'm polishing my aluminum exhaust pipes and would love to be able to seal them somehow. Just not sure what would last best with the heat.
Thanks in advance!

CarPro dLux.
Wolfgang metal sealant.
Sealant or Coating ... don't use a traditional wax. If you use Flitz Metal Polish it has some protection build in as another choice.
Blackfire Metal Sealant.
Collinite Metal Wax # 850

I used a coat of Klasse AIO after polishing and it seems to be holding up well. But it's a factory tip over the exhaust pipe itself, so it may not get as hot as some others.
Thanks for the suggestions, all. I will admit I had hoped for more of a consensus because now I don't know which to use! I'll have to research them all. I like the pricing on the Collinite just off hand!
Now that you mention it, I'm not sure how hot the exhausts get. Never had the guts to test it out. They are Two Brother's slip ons. So I really don't know if they get super-hot or not.
Spray some AA Wheel Protectant on them and they'll stay absolutely spotless for 5 weeks as long as you don't touch them.
