I have a question about using Meguiar's D114 as a waterless wash. I see lots of people talking about using it as a rincesless wash at that ratio of 1:128, does that go for waterless as well?
Thanks!

Bump for answer :)
1:15 for waterless wash
Today I put 5oz of the stuff into a 5 gallon drum with a tap and filled it up with DI water, works great! I am looking for a waterless wash that you dont have to buff off, like UWW+. I love using it for cars, have done about 10 cars using the water less wash method and does not scratch the paint! I find that the higher the dilution the more residue it leaves behind making it hard to buff off, especially on black paint and glass! Even now at 1:128 it leaves a residue that takes a bit of time to get off of glass.
Bought a gallon of D114 during last weekends sale!
Excited to use this as a waterless wash, have you had good results using it at a 1:128 dilution ratio for waterless wash?
Thank you!
Stephan
I'll tell you what I do for D114's dilution ratios...
and it starts with how dirty/soiled that [B]I/B] deem the various panels to be.
Rinseless/Washless? Nah! I call it:
"The using of the least amount of D114 (in ounces), mixed as a solution with: the minimum amount of (preferably distilled) water---also measured in ounces---that it takes to wash a vehicle...without otherwise resorting to using a free-flowing source of water".
Please feel free to label this wash system as you wish. :)
The D114 dilution ratios I so far have used are:
• A 1:256 ratio for lightly soiled panels...
down to:
• A 1:192 ratio for medially soiled panels...
down to:
• A 1:128 ratio for the most heavily soiled panels...
and all the way down to:
• A 1:15 ratio for a "panel wipe"
Hope this helps.

So you guys are saying you only have to add less than a half an ounce (0.2) of D114 in a 32oz bottle (1.128) to make Waterless Wash? With D115 Meguiars recommends 6.4 oz of D115 in a 32 OZ bottle (4.1) for Waterless Wash . It looks like D114 is the most economical Waterless Wash on the market
