Mike, I am seeing more and more of my marine customers who have gel coats that have been painted. What are you thoughts in this situation. Do you stick with marine products or go with automotive products.

IF they are painted, stick with automotive.
Marine compounds "can" be very aggressive and can be risky to use on thin paint.
Remember, most gel-coats are fairly thick so it's safer and faster to use aggressive product to chop through oxidation.
