Using counterweight with PC and Edge Pads
I know it's been discussed that I'm not supposed to use the supplied counterweight that says "for use with 5" pads only" for the edge 2k pads, but it seems to work better for me. Without the counterweight, I could barely hold on at speed 5, not even mentioning speed 6. But then with the counterweight, speed 5 is tolerable, but speed 6 will take a few cars to get used to for now.
Is that the results I'm supposed to be having? Should I order a 6" counterweight to have it work better with the edge pads? Thanks a lot!

I have the 5" counterweight with no problems.
I would like someones opinions on the Edge Foam Pad Conditioning Brush too.

Aaron from The Edge was using this brush at Detail Fest. It cleaned the pads very easily and fast. I haven't used it myself but his demo was very convincing.

After reading a post about using the brush I got one. At first I thought it would be to harsh for the foam. It's not. It's perfect to work in the cleaners, and work out the dirty stuff. I'd definitly buy one again.

Did you run the machine with no counter weight? You definitely don't want to do that. The 5" weight is fine for any size pad. Don't bother buying the 6" weight. Many detailers have posted on various forums that changing the counter weight makes no noticeable difference what so ever.
You like Nattys, I like Souveran, and Justin is DP MaxWax. And you know what, its alright !!

Oh, no wonder it seemed impossible with no counterweight. But I guess I'll stick with the 5" counterweight and get used to it. Thanks a lot!
