    New Cars

When dealing with fairly new cars with few swirls and waterspots, should i use a light swirl remover/polish or just use a paint work cleasner without any abrassive?

Use the least aggressive product that can get the job done...If you don't get results you are looking for - switch to more aggressive product.
2008 Acura MDX Sport white pearl (daily driver)
    2009 BMW E70 X5 4.8i jet black (garage queen)
    2013 BMW F25 X3 2.8 jet black (wife's car)

In most cases a finishing pad (grey or blue) and a finishing polish (Poorboys SSR 1.0, XMT 1, Menzerna FP) are all that is needed.

I'm going to try the ssr 1.0 and the finishing pad on a new lexus with some neglected paint tomorrow. Thanks again for the advice.
