Some of you guys touting this great warranty should read the fine print, its not as cut and dry as many posts here have indicated. The lifetime covers "defects" for example. The way I read the warranty, you have 180 days to return it for any reason, after that, if it craps out and is deemed not to be a defect but normal wear and tear, you pay the bill. Reading the warranty closely, I think the Porter Cable has a much clearer and better warranty.
