Probably very well. I hear M101 has a lot of cut.

I use a lot of Ultimate Compound, and M100 using green buff and shine grip pads. They do all do a fantastic job!

I honestly have been using M100 with a standard 8mm DA polisher paired with buff & shine's flat 5.5 inch white, orange, or yellow euro-foam pads (based on paint hardness) as my go-to 1-step for the past two years. I honestly didn't believe M101 could possibly have more cut and finish better. But the last few months I've been using it with Meguiar's thin burgundy cutting discs and it truly does cut FAR more than M100. The only other compound (other than scholl's s0 matting compound) that can actually come close to matching M101 in cut, is Menzerna SHC 300 which is a bit more expensive and leaves a noticeable haze. If m101 didn't smell worse that FG400 and cost twice as much as m100, it would my primary compound. It's that good.

So to answer your question, it will cut EXTREMELY well, even with the PC7424. Especially with the 3.5 inch and 5.5 inch pads

It will do great so long as you enjoy the 7424 and keep it rotating. Add in a MF Pad instead of foam and it will cut through anything fast and safe leave a nice really good finish, only a very minor haze and is really easy to remove. It will dust a little though.

M101 is my go-to compound on rough cars.

Did use a 7424 on this but it was with M101 and Griot's MF Pads:

    I agree.

Both M100 and M101 are very good compounds no matter what the tool.

They both use very good abrasive technology, the most important factor when polishing paint plus they have long working times and low dusting characteristics.

When it comes to wool pads on a rotary buffer M100 is top notch.

Just be sure to do a test spot first and be prepared to do a follow up polishing step to insure no haze left by the compounding step. I would not recommend M205 but take a look at any fine cut polish in the SONAX brand like any of these,

    SONAX Cut & Finish

    SONAX Cut & Finish

Sonax Profiline Nano Polish 3/6, sonax nano polish, sonax perfect finish, sonax profiline cut finish

If you go this route, please post a follow-up as to your results and experience.

Also since this was your first post to the AGO forum...

M100 is nice, but compared to Zephir and M101 it feels like medium compound.
