    PC 7424xp Question

A few days ago I acquired a PC7424xp along with a LC 5 inch backing plate. When I went to put the backing plate on I notice the excentric weight stated 6inch pad only. Is the LC 5 inch backing plate going to play well with the PC7424xp or will I need to purchase a 6 inch backing plate.

    Thanks

You'll be fine with the 5" backing plate.

    Re: PC 7424xp Question

As others have stated...you're good to go as is.

Ya have to remember that the PC started its' life as a 'sander' and when you changed the size of the sanding disk from 6" to 5" (etc), the different counter weights DID make a difference.
