Question: Best DA pads for machine application of PBL SCP
Hey all,
I'll be investing in some new pads (6" and 3 to 4") for a 6" Griot's DA, and was curious what combination (color/type of pad, and speed) and method most people have used for Pinnacle Black Label Surface Cleansing Polish.
Also, how many pads will I need (for a sedan and for autos like a passenger van?)
I've had luck in hand applying it after finding the right method, but from what I've read and experienced, find a machine application method that saves time and effort over hand application might prove to be challenging.
Thanks in advance!
Mike

Any soft polishing or waxing pad.
I try to use the soft waxing pad because all you're trying to do is massage the product over the surface for a few passes and then wipe it off.
For example the Lake Country 5.5" Blue Waxing Pad or an equivalent.

Awesome, thanks for the guidance Mike!
Also, love your truck from the Corvette post... that's a serious lift and tire combo!

It's not bad for being almost 28 years old... it's a blast to drive with the 350 small block but it's on schedule to get a 468 BBC this next spring.
I love Corvettes but it's easier for me to physically get into a lifted truck...

468 BBC? I sure hope your drive to work is closer than mine. That bad boy is gonna be thirsty.

It seems like nobody makes trucks like they used to. That's good stuff.
A 428 should be stupid powerful... plus it'll sound great. I'm sure you'll get plenty more ideas at SEMA!
I miss having a truck. It's hard to get used to not being able to go anywhere you want to!
