All out of Pinnacle Black Label Surface Cleansing Polish
I'm all out of PBL Surface Cleansing Polish and was wondering whether any other products on the market might serve a similar purpose; specifically ones already in my garage! lol I was hoping to seal one of my cars this evening and didn't realize that I was as low on product as I am!
I know you don't know what I've got in my garage but I'm just wondering what other types of products might be sufficient to get the job done. When I need a few more items I'll pick up some from AutoGeek but until then any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
-Eric

Maybe a very mild polish, like Menzerna sf4500 followed by some carpro eraser?
Just a shot in the dark....

Pro Polish is similar and much less $...the thing is if your using it prior to a coating, you won't know for sure if it leaves the surface coating ready - as PB's isn't in the coating biz.
I have not had good luck with Menz prior to a coating. If a polish - I'd get Optimum.

Thanks! What about even Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion? I know it is supposed to remove old wax and is sometimes called a fine polish but it doesn't remove swirls (it just fills them). Is it not aggressive enough? Too aggressive? Or just the wrong product entirely?

If you're applying a Black Label COATING, then you will need more Surface Cleansing Polish.
If you're simply applying a wax or paint sealant, any high quality polish on hand will do. Menzerna, Pooboy's, Optimum, etc.

Thanks, Nick! Yes, that's what I was planning on doing tonight. Sounds like it's time for another order.
So far I'm very happy with the PBL system. I'm not sure about its durability yet -- as I haven't really tested it -- but alone it looks amazing. I've also applied Pinnacle Souveran paste over the PBL Paint Coating and I think it adds depth to the paint. I've also use CG Hybrid 7 as a quick detailer. To my eyes, the paint is just stunning!
Here's a picture someone took of my CLA leaving a coffee and cars event earlier this year.
