Question Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba Paste How long between layers?

I have done a search of the board but I have not found an answer.

I have a BMW Z4 Roaster (Black) and have spent the weekend detailing it before my trip to Roadster Homecoming on Wed.

Washing the car twice to remove all the old wax’s.
Use a Clay bar the entire car to remove all embedded contamination from the clear coat.
Polish the car with Pinnacle Advanced swirl/scratch remover.
Final polish of the car with Pinnacle finishing polish.
Put a good coat of Megquires NXT@2.0 sealant on. Let sit overnight in the garage to cure. I emailed Megs and asked about layering NXT. They said I can put a non cleaning Carnauba on right away.
Sunday put a good coat of Pinnacle Signature II Carnauba wax.

I still have time tonight or tomorrow to put another layer of Sig II on.

Is it still too early for this or can I do it now?

I would give it 8-12 hours to cure. I think that a day is more than enough time.

LOL, I always knew that BMW's were hot cars but "roaster"????

Take tonight off, relax and add another layer tomorrow. You could add one before then but we all need to take a break away from our cars every now and then... Don't we ???

no appreciable wait time on carnuabas versus a sealant. You can look up spit-shine if you want to really add additional layers with carnaubas. It has been offered that due to the solvent content in wax, another level likely removes some/all the previous level. Two layers are done more for complete coverage and protection.

Thanks. Not bad for an 03...

Actually, that is an older pic.
    You should see it now..
The second coat of Pinnacle Signature II really did the trick.

Might have to take some more picture tomorrow while I am packing the trunk for the trip...

Nice looking BMW. Makes me wish I still had my wife's 3 series.

I'm in the same boat as Sal, I have used Natty's blue and red for a while but could not resist the bogo on SS II. I have a older Acura that belongs to a friend in need of some serious TLC. Can't wait to see what it will do to that black finish after polishing....

Now if only Souveran makes it to the bogo.....

I agree with killrwheels, adding another coat of wax will not add anything, when applying the the first coat work in small areas to make sure that all areas are covered and evenly covered.....by the way, go choice on car and the Meg's 2.0 I have used it several times and what a great product....... Ride On !!
