    I agree with that as long as you're using good technique. For the Paint Coating Prep, you wipe it off immediately after working it over a panel. It does not need to dry and it should not be allowed to dry. It still wipes off pretty easy if it dries but the point is there's no "need" for this type of product to dry.


    The paint coating flash dries fairly quickly and once it dries it's rock hard. For this reason you don't want to tackle a very large panel at one time and instead should break or divide larger panels into smaller sections.

    For example, we divided the hood into two sections, applied the paint coating to one half the hood and then came back and either worked any excess residue into the paint or softly wiped it off with a clean microfiber towel.

    Excess Residue is actually what people call "high spots", except the words excess residue are more accurate. (Use whatever words you like).

    Even though we all know the key to a high gloss finish starts with good prep work you still have to have an LSP that creates glossy results and the new Detailer's Paint Coating does doe this very well.
