Will the Swirl Girls be in attendance?

Might be... we're going to work on this car on a Friday or a Saturday due to scheduling conflicts for Thursday nights for the owner.

I'm all ready for this one Mike if you keep keeping low cars to work on you may have to talk Max into some ramps to raise the cars up some .Those low cars are a killer on us old guys .

Very nice example of removing defects and actually adding clear coat back! Nice work everyone.

My favorite customers to work for are the guys that have the old style gas station floor lifts, the kind that has the center hydraulic ram with the arms that move out to frame locations for lifting, that way you don't have to work around the arms for the modern styles of floor lifts. A scissor style would accomplish the same thing...

I would rather bring the car up to me... versus lower myself to the car... but when that's what's needed then that's what you do as you should always be looking across from the paint you're looking at, like this...

Note how Todd is looking directly across from the paint he's polishing

Looking across from the paint I'm polishing...

And especially if you're sanding on paint...

Yep... we're sitting on the floor...

Alas... I don't think a floor lift is in our future...

Next time you can use the Kreepstool...

Another handy tool for detailing your car is the versatile Kreepstool Rolling Utility Seat with plenty of space below to hold your detailing tools and supplies as you work on your car.

I can as Dave the owner, need to contact him anyway and see if he's going to have his Vette at Detail Fest.

I have a couple of painter friends here in the Stuart area. In fact I was at Paul's body shop on Saturday checking out his paint booth and paint mixing room. He has a very nice set-up and a lot of radical hot rod projects going on right now. I took some phone pictures I'll try to post them today.
