Nice follow up photos. I use mother's water spot remover on the glass as well.
What did you think about this product from mother's?
I think it works really well and can be used by both enthusiasts and pros alike.

I would love to check it out, as I should be in town by that Thurs eve.
I like this idea as I know there will be a number of our forum members that will be here Thursday and even earlier for Detail Fest that would love the opportunity to be part of one of our Thursday night projects.
The issue is all the set-up that goes into getting the grounds out front set-up and ready and then the studio/garage/classroom set-up for detail fest.
So my guess is "no" not because we don't want to as we like include as many of our forum members as possible with our projects but by Thursday everything will be so far along as far as setting up that it becomes tough to do without creating a lot more work just one day before we go LIVE with the show and of course, the live broadcasts.
I really enjoyed this thread. Not simply because it was another "old" car resurrected but it in a step by step format shows what can be accomplished when a skilled veteran passes along his knowledge and experience to these willing to listen and learn.
Initially, I thought this was an old single stage finish but as I continued reading the words "clear coat" popped up so I knew what direction we'd be taking. I was sort of shocked to see how tough the finish was and in fact one of the "most challenging" I've seen!
Mike, your threads are presentations at their finest! From start to finish they're the bible on how to detail the right way teaching those just starting out or the seasoned veteran alike...

Hey Mike. I was just curious if you have heard from the owner on how his car is holding up with Mothers.
I saw it a month or so ago at our local car show. That was a good car to hone your rotary skills on.The continental kit is challenging with the machines so we did the best by hand. It`s a cool car not only because it`s a vintage Chevy but it got massaged by the EXTREME TEAM.Our fearless leader Mike Phillips always thinks things through.
