    Hi Mike and fellow Autogeeks!

I just completed Mike's Competition Ready class last week and I'm totally hooked on the Rupes 15! And as well as the whole Rupes system.
In addition to the Rupes 15 being a smooth polisher, it's
the pads that blew me away!

I'm glad this thread came up. Now I need to re-think my order!!! Grin...

Re: Pictures: RUPES Detailing Class at Autogeek - 1948 Chevy Fleetmaster Streetrod

Hello. I just recently ordered and received my Rupes 15, mini, pads, polishes, etc - the whole Rupes enchilada. I have my own personal fleet of vehicles that I intend to get detailed once spring arrives.

Quick question - before applying the P808 - is the only surface prep after polishing a wipe down with microfiber cloths? There isn't a wet wash between polishing and the P808?

    Thanks
    Eric

Just wipe off the polish and then apply P808.

No wet wash of any kind in between. Just compound, then polish and then seal.

    Correct and good answer Tom.

No need to chemically strip paint when going from polish to wax or sealant.
