Nice. I got a sample of Hyperwash in trade and it is yellow. The Hyperwash sample you have is reddish. Do I actually have Hyperwash?

I have a saying, goes like this....

If it has paint... it gets polished....

That means I don't miss a single square inch when I buff out someone's car. Now I have a new saying....

If it has paint... it gets washed.... every square inch...

Now here's a truck that's clean enough to machine buff...

Keep in mind, anytime you're going to do any type of paint polishing and especially by machine, it's vitally important that the vehicle is absolutely clean.

You never want to risk any dirt particles getting trapped between your pad and the paint as this could inflict swirls and scratches at the same time you're trying to remove them.

    Continued....

We primarily used the Rupes orbital polishers for this project, I think there's a couple of guys using the Meguiar's G110v2 but for the most part it was Rupes with soft foam finishing pads and Meguiar's M20 Polymer Sealant which has been around since the late 1970's. (formula improves as new technology is introduced)

Here's my co-worker Jeff using the Rupes Duetto....

    Here's Antti using either a Bigfoot 21 or a 15, I think it's a 21 by the size of the backing plate....

    Here's Wes using a Rupes....

M20 Polymer Sealant is a very light cleaner/wax, it's mostly for removing topical defects like oxidation, dirt staining and embedded dirt as well as all types of surface impurities. It does have a little bit though for removing fine or shallow swirls and scratches and the larger throw or orbit stroke length of the Rupes Bigfoot polishers leverages and maximizes this light swirl removing ability to clean this paint up in one-step.

    Hey Jeff.... smile!

Here's Rob using a Rupes Bigfoot 21 Orbital Polisher...

Tackling a job this big requires not only a lot of people, polishers and pads but also extension cords...

Here's John working a Rupes polisher...

    Here's Frank using a G110v2 polisher...

ANYTIME you're machine polishing, it's vitally important to clean your pad after each section you polish. Otherwise you'll be grinding the stuff you remove back into the paint when you start a new section.

Here's some shots showing how we tackled the top sections....

These look like swirls in the paint but really it's just the wax layer ready to be wiped off....

    2-handed Wax-on! Wax off!

we even polished all the wheels, side stainless steel and chrome trim and dressed the tires...

She's ready to hit the road!

Thank you to everyone that worked so hard to complete this project.
