The neighbors got a golden retriever puppy. They tried walking him tonight but they didn't get very far with everyone coming out to meet him.

He had a vet visit today, we thought he'd lost a tooth, one of the big canines, and he also had the sniffles, turns out the canine was broken, and the infection in the root got into the nasal cavity. So they put him under, removed the broken tooth, and cleaned the rest of his teeth. He's also anemic, but we're hoping that's related to the infection. The bandaged leg is where they took some blood, it's safe to remove, but he won't let me, I think he's keeping it for sympathy. So far the cost has been almost $1300.
