keep at it, you're exercising your most important muscle in your body - your HEART!
Re: what's the last form of excercise you've done?
rotator cuff exercises ( supraspinatus )... followed by Fitter - side to side ( core and shoulder stability work )... weighted stability ball crunches ( with slow extension and up to neutral spine - no flexion )... hammer strength chest press... leg extension ( last 40 degrees = TKE )... neck extension exercises... all in circuit fashion for increased heart rate benefits. Mostly rehab and stability work per usual.

more swimming today but changed it up a little. after swimming a lap i would jump out and do 10 pushups and then back into the pool and keep swimming. did this five times in a row and my arms are aching. gonna feel it tomorrow...
Re: what's the last form of excercise you've done?
wow, this is something that will help motivate me more in the water, considering the fact that this drill has his arms and feet tied up and is definitely not only tiring (he's mainly doing dolphin kicks to swim) but mental in the fact you do not have your arms and legs to help you out...
and i started to do something like this but i would swim 25 meters and then hop out of the pool and do 10 pushups. would repeat this until i did 100 pushups total...

The best thing about being retired for me is having time to exercise. On days that I don't detail cars, I ride my bike to the gym, lift, ride home. Usually take a hike after lunch and then walk in the evening 3 miles when the wife gets home.
