Cool Geneva Concourse D'legance from last weekend...MUST SEE PICS!!!

I was lucky enough to hear about this show on "Drive Chicago" last weekend and my wife straightened me out as to which day it actually was, I thought it was Saturday the 23rd when infact it was Sunday the 24th. This show was open to the public but the cars were INVITE ONLY, so I knew there would be NO junk and it couldn't have been better, this was the best show I've ever been to due to the variety which you'll see!

There was alot of people and there was alot of heat and humidity, so I wasn't able to get the types of cars that were there, the older Italian exotics threw me for a loop to say the least and there as some UNBELIEVABLE cars to show you, so please enjoy the pics:

I was lucky enough to park on the main street of Geneva and parked between this and a S2K, lucky me!

    Look at those hips!

Two great FoMoCo products right next to each other, Continental Mk II and the classic 57' T-bird!

Near the actual show, this caught my eye for sure, Citreon!!

Yeah like mid-years weren't going to be at a show like this, LOL! This is a 65' w/ the rarest color combo for the year, black w/silver interior!

    Its BRG, proper!

Now I'm not cultured enough to appreciate the classics from the 20's and 30's but this car stopped me dead in my tracks and had me talking to myself! 1932 Auburn Speedster, pics do this car NO justice, trust me!

Maserati race car, I would've loved to have heard this fire up, why, BECAUSE RACECAR!

Not sure what model Ferrari this is but it looks very cool!

    Alfa...!

    Ferrari again...!!

Looks stunning in black (better in BRG though!)

NINETEEN SIXTY FIVE THREE FIFTY SIX GEE TEE BEE!

....Did you catch your breathe after the above car, ok, we'll continue, another Alfa!

Someone help me out there, I have NO idea what this is but because I've never seen one and it really stood out, I snapped a pic!

    1969 Pantera DeTomaso...concept car maybe???

Ok, I have more pics but I wanna stop here and start another post, so please, don't post anything till I'm done, thank you! Wait till you guys/gals see what's coming up next to start the post, think rallye ICON!

Now this is just something you don't see everyday unless you have one, period!

    1993 Lancia Delta Intagrale EVO

This is great pic of the car IMO!

I would rather drive the above Italian masterpiece over the next car....why, well, just look at it! Can you imagine getting out of this car w/o gold chains, parachute pants and a muscle shirt....???, yeah, me either. I'll never understand why these cars get so much pub, its a cartoon character....

Now here's something I would love to be seen in, actually, I want to drive one....badly!

    Mogan, love the color combo!

You can clearly see where Jag got the styleing cues for the S-type, its undeniable!

Yet another ICON, BRG to boot....!

Had to come back to this...NINETEEN SIXTY FIVE THREE FIFTY SIX... GEE TEE BEE! Lookin' right at you!

I'm not into "brass cars" at all, but I really, really liked this one!

Can"t spell the name of this but I'll try...Misserschmitt

Yet another Citreon, ridin' on air, literally and figuratively!

    Sunbeam Tiger, GET SMART!

    Aston Martin Superleggera....in person!

Ok, ok, the last car sent you over the top, same thing, PLEASE wait will I'm done to post anything, more pics to come, thank you

Talking Re: Geneva Concourse D'legance from last weekend...MUST SEE PICS!!!

    Classic MG!

Now were going to take a stroll down Porsche street, the PCA had an entire street to themselves, prepare yourself for greatness!

    914

I heard a lady call this color "baby poop" brown, LOL!

Ok, its not white but it is triple black and I know this is a family show but let's just say I was at "automotive attention" here!

    Again, look at those hips!

Love the TURBO decal on the fender, actually drove an 89' Turbo S to Otto MINI near Philly about 6 years ago for a customer to pick up coming from NY, drove back a brand new JCW MINI (but that's another story)

    You just can't deny a 911 w/ Fuchs!

Just look at the paint on this 930, are you kidding me!

Last year for the proper, air-cooled turbo 911, the 993 and just look at this car and its stance and rims, perfect!

The hips have been taken in a bit but its still got a little bit going on back there!

    Early, early 911...

....and now for something completely different (and BIG)

Like I said, different and different is good, oh so very good!

British and BRG, what a beautiful thing!!

61' "Bubble Top", one of my favorite classic Chevy's, period! (just add Torque Thrusts and serve!!)

The MINI Moke, originally designed for the military, very cool!

...and so this wraps up the pics from the Geneva Concours D'legance, hope you enjoyed the pics

NO problem Run, I like posting pics and sharing and adding commentary and I'm sure I might come off like Jeremy Clarkson sometimes but oh well, LOL! My license plate says CPT SLOW, so go figure and I'm short like Richard Hammond, I guess I'm always in TOP GEAR

Enjoyed the pics. For the first time in my life I wished I lived in Chicago!

What camera did you use to capture these shots?
