Well look at that, I didn't even think about looking here. mmmmmm yeah it's not cheap. But I need somethink that is a wet vac too, for the dirty nasty wet boat carpet. If I am not mistaken those are regular vacuums, right.
Thanks,

Oops.. Lets stop this thread!! I can see where this might go. I didn't realize it was a product offered by AG. I don't want to get anyone in trouble.
Sorry!
Thanks,

your ok ... just no links. The Metro line does not suck water up to my knowledge. They are designed to vacuum and to blow warm air and can be used to help dry bikes and cars. They were originally designed for pets, or so I have been told.

Ok Thanks! I didn't want to start comparing products and get in trouble. I should have stated I need a wet vac.

Thanks Killr. The above being the case I can tell you that a very popular wet/dry is the Ridgid 5 HP. Either the 4 Gal. or 5 Gal. The hose is too short for detailing so make sure that you also get the "Detail" kit (11 foot hose w/attachments).

The 4gal 5hp Rigid is popular (I use one). I'd get the similar style 5gal 5.5hp (2512411)shop vac though. I have the 5.5hp motor in another vacuum and the power is noticeably higher. I think the Rigid is 9amp and the ShopVac 11amp. I love the Rigid for it's design and size. While powerful enough it's not as powerful as the other motors.

I got the Rigid 5hp with the detachable blower. kind of a 2 in 1 deal. I use the blower to dry the car.
