Sold in stores?

I'm curious as to why we don't see some of these brands (blackfire, wolfgang, DP) in local detail shop. I have one small shop close to me and they don't sell any of the products I like. Why is that?

Because they are sold through AG and select distributors.

Because high quality detailing products are outrageously expensive compared to the cheap bulk junk products most production detail shops use.

This.

Most people going in local shops are not going to pay $50 for a 16 oz bottle of sealant. Hell, most don't know what a sealant is.

They just wouldn't sell.

Lol! No hammering on my part. I'm talking about your average person walking in an O'Reilly's etc. They're looking to wash their car and make it shine for cheap. Most won't pay for the high dollar products.

The majority of PBE/Jobbers are not going to carry too many boutique car-care brands.

Because those 3 you mentioned are AG house brands. You will see Menzerna or CarPro sold on a lot of different sites because they aren't house brands.

Ehh you can call them boutique while I'll call them house brands. They are boutique in the fact that they are hard to find outside of PBMG subsidiaries, but that is just because they are house brands.
