    AG Customer Service

Hey Geeks. Well, I received a shipment today from AG and to my disappointment, I was missing something from the order. Bummed out, I called AG and spoke a to a VERY friendly represented who was nothing but awesome! I gave him the required information and he immediately put together an order for me containing the missing item and a FREE t-shirt. I am SO blown away with the customer service. It's not everyday that you find somebody in that profession that's friendly and helpful. AG... Y'all ROCK!

When I was doing the BMW, I showed my cousin a specific RIDS, (I knew what it was cos of AG)

I asked him "Do you know that is?"

He then said "umm not sure, maybe your scratched it?"

I then explained to him what were RIDS and how I expose the deeper scratch lol

I have learned and I am learning so much more because of AG. Not just body shop style.

And yes keep calm and chive on

I am very confident when I say my detailing ability and skills have increased greatly ever since I joined AG. The knowledge seems to be endless and always updating. Plus, you get to meet and chat with people that have the same hobby or career. That's my $0.02. Gotta love the Chive

    Re: AG Customer Service

I have been an AGO member for about 2.5 years; which is about as long as I have been seriously detailing as a hobby. I tend to learn things quickly but with this forum and the support system around it (videos, youtube, member contributions, customer service, etc....) I have much more discipline and "smarts" in this timeframe than I ever expected.

At the end of the day, detailing is not rocket science but it does have a combination of art and science. A lot of what I have done in the past with my head and hands just made detailing a natural progression for me. And I expect to learn something every week until I pass away.

Hey... I have an article on RIDS

RIDS - The Definition of RIDS and the story behind the term...

    I always say,

Polishing paint is an art form not merely a grinding process. I requires the right pads, products tools and techniques PLUS the human elements of care and passion to take a diamond in the rough and turn it into a glistening gemstone.

That's actually in the introduction of my how-to book...

Agreed. I consider myself to be a perpetual student.

Seriously, new technology is being introduced so fast and furious no of us can never know it all and if you want to keep up in this industry then you have to not only be open to new ideas, new products, new technology, you need to be active on a forum like AGO where all this information and technology is being introduced...

For example the latest Meguiar's videos that were shot here and then released both here and on MOL to share information about the new SMAT products that have changed how we look at abrasives and the compounding process.

Questions about Meguiar's M105, M101 and M100 Compounds? Watch this video!

You just don't see this type of dissemination of information anywhere else.

And "yes" as someone that works with with all our customer care staff... they are the best in the industry...
