    Garage floor coating for traction

Alright, what are you guys doing for a coating or paint on your concrete floors to keep them from turning into "ice" from chemicals or water? My floor is sealed, but there is no media in it for traction. When I get water or dressing on the floor, it is SLICK!

I did this was about $350 and there is a padded floor underneath it.

Have you looked up racedeck tiles? That's the problem with epoxy type coatings is there isn't a drain or built at a steep enough angle, water will just sit on it.

I used to do epoxy flooring and we would put silica sand in after we applied the primer and then swept it up before we coated it to give it grip. after the floor was laid it might be hard to get anything with traction. into it without recoating the floor

There are a lot of epoxy coatings out there with various forms of traction built in. I remember pricing a complete extremely heavy duty coating kit with the shoes and everything for $8,700 to do our 60x80 shop.
