My first paint correction @ 12 years old

Joe's vintage Black & Decker polisher reminded me of my first paint correction at 12 years old. My grandmother had a 1978 candy apple red Chevy Caprice Classic. She insisted I

polish it. At 12 the last thing I wanted to do was polish grandmas car. She gets a polisher and "sews" a lamb skin shammy onto the pad and gives it to me with bottle of Blue Coral.

Well she didn't know anything and neither did I but I do remember the setup marred up the paint beyond repair. Fortunately she caught me just after I finished the hood. Kinda

funny looking back.

Funny. I still have an unused Blue Coral kit from about the same era that I was saving for a "good car".
