    Re: Incredibly Cheap Finds

Advance Auto Parts has the Fast Orange Grease-X Mechanics Laundry Detergent FREE AFTER REBATE until 9/15/17.

The 40oz jug, is regularly priced $14.99 and there is a rebate for up to $14.99 back.
Currently, AAP has this detergent on sale for $12.99.

The rebate is for the purchase price, up to $14.99. If you only pay $12.99, then your rebate will be $12.99 (not $14.99)

Fast Orange mechanics soap is awesome for removing grease and oil, so I'm going to give this stuff a shot as a dedicated pad and towel detergent/cleaner/soak.

Advance Auto Parts Fast Orange Grease-X Try Me Free
    Valid from 09/01/2017 to 09/15/2017
Offer valid only at Advance Auto Parts.

    Link to Product

Link to Rebate (fill out and file online)

The rebate will be in the form of a check, mailed to the shipping address you provide on the rebate form.

After rebate, you'll just be out the cost of the tax, as you will get the purchase price back. (up to $14.99)

When I clicked on your link to product this message was above the $12.99 sale price:

This product is on sale and is not eligible for any further promotional discounts, coupons or special offers.

    Odd.

    Odd.
That just means you can't use any additional coupon codes on this item. The rebate is still valid.

I don’t see how it can clean the valves. Cause anyone who knows how gdi works knows the valves is what gets carbon. Sure the piston tops do somewhat too but the back side of the valves which doesn’t get hit with fuel on a GDI engine is the concern

That’s why you have to go through intake or further measures. Not the gas tank

    Roger,

Techron and pretty much all good fuel system cleaners use PEA technology. We use a new technology that’s exclusive to us. It’s strong enough to remove deposits on Direct injected fuel injectors which cannot be done with PEA.

The product has been tested and when we ran it at full concentration it was so effective on some poorly maintained cars it threw oxygen sensor codes because of the deposits being burned. We decided to dilute the formula and recommend 2 bottles. That gets the same cleaning results without the code issue.
